Senior Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - $1,000 Sign on Bonus - Benefits Start Day 1


  • Performs repairs and maintenance work on all production and facilities equipment and preventative maintenance on all building and production equipment. 

  • Leads and executes construction or equipment fabrication projects as assigned; assists in plant equipment layout decisions; helps and/or directs others when moving major existing equipment or when installing new equipment. 

  • Organize, prioritize, and respond to work order requests 

  • Reviews and updates preventive maintenance schedules and communicates changes in the maintenance database. 

  • Work on Health, Safety and Environmental Teams to continuously improve work processes, aid in other areas, train other operators and other special projects assigned by Henkel Personnel.


  • Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school. 

  • 5 years of experience working as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment. 

  • Chemical Manufacturing facility experience preferred 

  • The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls. 

  • Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, heights, odors, noise and equipment. 

  • Able to life 50 pounds, frequently move around and work on feet for most of the day. 

  • Occasionally sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times. Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups. 

  • Occasionally write by hand and/or type on a keyboard for periods of times.
