Senior Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - $1,000 Sign on Bonus - Benefits Start Day 1
Performs repairs and maintenance work on all production and facilities equipment and preventative maintenance on all building and production equipment.
Leads and executes construction or equipment fabrication projects as assigned; assists in plant equipment layout decisions; helps and/or directs others when moving major existing equipment or when installing new equipment.
Organize, prioritize, and respond to work order requests
Reviews and updates preventive maintenance schedules and communicates changes in the maintenance database.
Work on Health, Safety and Environmental Teams to continuously improve work processes, aid in other areas, train other operators and other special projects assigned by Henkel Personnel.
Associate degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
5 years of experience working as a maintenance technician in a manufacturing environment.
Chemical Manufacturing facility experience preferred
The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, heights, odors, noise and equipment.
Able to life 50 pounds, frequently move around and work on feet for most of the day.
Occasionally sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times. Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups.
Occasionally write by hand and/or type on a keyboard for periods of times.
