SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES
The Fiscal Support Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of fiscal and general business office-related tasks that are standard or regular support duties within the Razorback Transit program. Duties include bookkeeping, data entry, new staff on-boarding, payroll, customer service, purchasing, monitoring inventory levels, and report production.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is governed by Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

* The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
* At least two years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing, or related experience

* Formal education or training in accounting or related business-related field and/or Associate degree would be preferred
* Proficient skills and experience utilizing Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAS)
* Ability to display positive customer service techniques
* Ability to apply accounting principles and database management skills in a University environment
* Ability to comprehend and assimilate business-related documents
* Ability to apply policies and procedures of the University, State, and Federal Transit Administration
* Ability to conduct research, perform quantitative quality assurance reviews, and prepare reports
