TriStar Centennial Medical Center is a 741-bed comprehensive facility offering medical and surgical programs including behavioral health, 24-hour emergency, heart and vascular, imaging, neurosciences, oncology, orthopedics, pediatrics, rehabilitation, sleep disorder, and women's services. An affiliate of TriStar Health, TriStar Centennial Medical Center's 43-acre campus is home to TriStar Centennial Heart & Vascular Center, TriStar Centennial Women's Hospital, The Children's Hospital at TriStar Centennial, Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute at TriStar Centennial Medical Center, TriStar Centennial Advanced Joint Replacement Institute and TriStar Centennial Parthenon Pavilion.
What you will do in this role:
The Registered Dietitian assesses patients' nutritional needs, develops and implements care plans, and evaluates the
results. The Dietitian confers with physicians and other health care professionals to coordinate the medical and nutritional needs.
1. Screen and assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions.
2. Develop nutrition care plan using Nutrition Care Process for treatment of nutrition diagnosis.
3. Collaborate with physician and health care professions to meet patients' nutritional needs.
4. Counsel patients and caregivers on appropriate meal plan.
5. Develop educational materials and visual tools for patient education. 6. Train Dietetic Interns and students.
7. Support the facility's Standards of Performance and ICARE values.
QUALIFICATIONS What qualifications you will need:
1. Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related fields
2. Completion of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics approved dietetic internship 3. Registered Dietitian
4. Licensed in the State of Tennessee
