Job Description:

Position Summary :

The Operations Sr. Manager oversees the operational management for the ProviderPay program. This role oversees operational procedures, including the successful completion of tasks by the Operations team. Ensures the successful completion of functions including billing and invoicing of customers, processing payments, balancing accounts, and facilitating transfer of funds. This position prepares monthly and quarterly reports and analytics as well as performs routine system audits. Responsible for analysis related to the item, vendor and customer master files. Has responsibility for the integrity of the data from point of entry through dissemination. Creates documentation and improves processes that relate to data accuracy. Will manage groups and communicate with internal and external customers on the relevancy of company data. May also recommend and oversee system enhancements that will allow for more accurate and effective data upkeep.

Key Responsibilities :


  • Develops and oversees successful completion of Operations teams functions including customer billing, invoicing, funds transfers, system audits, and processing payments.

  • Creates and delivers reports and analysis for ProviderPay program. Create, develop, track, and communicate operational and business metrics. Accurately monitors, communicates results to key stakeholders.

  • Working closely with internal departments to identify roadblocks, research and resolve issues with the goal of improving processes and providing higher quality service to our customers.

  • Research, development and implementation of departmental standard operating procedures governing daily activities. Regularly monitors and reviews effectiveness and efficiency of existing standard operating procedures to ensure on-going full support of both customer and company interests.


Minimum Requirements:

9+ years of professional experience and 1+ years of supervisory and/or management experience

Critical Skills:


  • 3+ years of supervisory or equivalent experience

  • 9+ years business process and business operations experience

  • 2+ experience presenting program and/or team statistics to senior leadership and key customers

  • Strong MS Office experience (Excel, Word & Outlook)

  • Must possess the following skills:  self-motivated, results-oriented, problem solving, decision making, analytical and business skills, team player, interpersonal and customer-focused

Additional Knowledge & Skills:


  • 2+ years managed care or equivalent experience 

  • General pharmacy operations / claims adjudication knowledge or experience

  • General pharmacy reimbursement / reconciliation knowledge or experience

  • General pharmacy credentialing knowledge or experience preferred

  • Previous SixSigma training preferred

Education:

4-year degree in business or related field or equivalent experience
