Responsibilities This position will report into the Global HRIS team and provide daily incident and enhancement request support for HR data integrations to the Global HR community; specifically focusing on ABAP and Boomi/HCI programming. Additionally, it will be expected to provide technical guidance on integrations setup/layouts, be the point of contact with other SAP IT teams, work with the HR community to define requirements and execute low to mid-level requests, and regularly participate in projects. • Technical lead and support for all HR data integrations including SAP replication, ABAP, BOOMI, and HCI • Technical point of contact between HRIS and other SAP IT teams including Basis and Netweaver • Lead developer for ABAP programming and/or requirements and testing coordination with 3rd party vendors for programming needs where necessary • Technical lead and support for all HR apps including Fiori and WebDynpro • Master understanding of data integration between SF and SAP • Master understanding of data integration between SAP and benefits/payroll vendors • Analysis of new requests, translation to technical system requirements, and coordination of testing • Participation in release packs through new technical functionality identification, impact analysis, and implementation of new technical functionality approved. • Support process owners/SMEs by providing guidance on integration set up and data as well as tier 3 support for resolution of technical system issues. • Administration of incident tickets including categorization and prioritization incoming tickets. • Coordination of tickets escalated to 3rd party consultants and SAP for resolution of incidents and/or product issues.
• Bachelors Degree in Information Technology or related field. • Minimum two (2) year experience with ABAP programming (or higher).
• Ability to do root cause analysis and identify required process changes as opposed to required technical changes. Ability to challenge the business on requested technical changes, and bring forward alternative process solutions. Ability to assist the business with the implementation of these process changes that will result in an even better solution without the need for technical changes. • Ability to quickly identify and analyze technical risks & impacts and define alternatives & prioritizations to remove technical roadblocks. Ability to manage multiple deliverables independently in a fast-paced environment. • Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively exercise tact, discretion, judgment and diplomacy when interacting and/or negotiating with internal and external customers and senior management. • Highly motivated self-starter. Ability to act as an advisor on professional and technical issues with a view towards reaching decisions. • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and global work group and to achieve results through global team efforts. Ability to perform in a high pressure environment and/or crisis situation and render good decisions to resolve the problems, maintain safety and ensure adherence to Corporate Code of Conduct.
