The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy Program Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU) is hiring a Program Implementation Specialist to provide technical assistance to internal and external stakeholders at the Veterans Health Administration to reduce the burden of veteran suicides. Successful candidates should have the ability to work with external stakeholders and a multi-disciplinary program team to solve complex problems related to community and stakeholder engagement and evidence-based suicide prevention program implementation. The position requires the incumbent to work in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team by leading community engagement and providing mentor ship to personnel on the development and administration of stakeholder engagement. An understanding of evidence-based mental health program implementation, as well as issues related to implementation quality, fidelity, and performance/impact/outcomes assessments is highly desirable. Duties involve providing technical assistance to ensure high-quality program delivery, collection, and reporting of program performance and impact data and program sustainability, including - communication with stakeholders seeking assistance, regular review of program data to ensure quality, identifying technical assistance needs, summarizing data, leading and motivating stakeholders through an established framework for program implementation, collaborating with the PERU program team to create tools and resources to support providers, facilitate presentations, webinars, and meetings.
Master's degree in Public/Behavioral health or related field. Relevant experience in mental/behavioral health is preferred. Organizational and communication skills are essential. Experience with Microsoft Office, Statistical software programs particularly R and web platforms is desirable. Significant experience may substitute for degree per University guidelines.
