Currently seeking a paralegal with commercial real estate and transactional experience to work on our 'in-house' legal team.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and revise various types of transactional agreements in connection with asset acquisitions and divestitures, real estate purchases and sales, and other complex commercial transactions.  Examples of documents would include, non-disclosure agreements, letters of intent, asset purchase agreements, real estate purchase and sale agreements, non-compete agreements, bills of sale, leases, easements, license agreements, deeds, and other acquisition and real estate related transaction documents;

  • Perform general real estate functions, including title and survey review, drafting and review of closing documents, liaison with third party representatives, and other real estate related tasks;

  • Coordinate closing of transactions, including conducting UCC and lien searches, managing due diligence and closing checklists, and assisting with various other closing and post-closing tasks;  

Other duties

  • Assistance with management of routine corporate governance matters;

  • Assist with management of intellectual property portfolio (including trademark applications, trademark renewals, responses to office actions and patent clearance matters);

  • Preparation of settlement agreements and other debt collection documentation; Assist with the management of outside counsel handling debt collection related litigation

  • Prepare and file bond claims;

  • Other projects as assigned.



  • 5+ years’ experience as a practicing paralegal

  • Extensive document drafting experience

  • Extensive experience working with title companies and survey review

  • Ability to multi task and handle a face paced, deadline driven environment

  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships

  • Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to think “outside of the box”

  • Ability to think independently while working within a group

  • Microsoft Word

  • Excel, PowerPoint skills preferred but not required


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies or other discipline

  • Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program is preferred
