Current Need

We are hiring a Senior Sales Compensation Analyst.

The Senior Sales Compensation Analyst is responsible for managing key projects within Sales Compensation/HR and across other work groups that are focused on the achievement of business unit initiatives such as mergers & acquisitions, integrations, sales effectiveness efforts and employee engagement. This position will serve as a key contributor in sales force and compensation analysis, sales territory analysis and design, selling expense trends/forecasts and sales performance trends.

Primary objectives include:

  • Leads quantitative and qualitative analysis on a broad array of sales and compensation matters, synthesizing results, highlighting business implications and recommending solutions to improve performance.

  • Responsible for conducting complex sales and financial analysis projects and/or reporting.

  • Provides quantitative problem-solving, model development, data analysis and manipulation of large datasets.

  • Supports the administration team in finalizing variable pay cycles by solving data issues, tracking those metrics that are not yet automated and working with Sales Leadership to solve concerns and issues.

  • Works closely with other BU resources, including HR Business Partners, Finance partners and Sales Management to coordinate and monitor projects from initiation through delivery.

  • Works as needed across different sales channels (or business in various geographies) to support and share tools and programs that provide best pay practices to client group(s).

Typical Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent

  • Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 3+ years experience as an analyst in Finance, Sales Operations, Marketing or Human Resources, using data tools and modeling to conduct data analysis to inform decision making and identify areas of opportunity. 

  • Business Acumen - Uses insight into business environment to improve outcomes and business performance; understands the operation of a business; tailors solutions to meet business needs while maintaining an enterprise view point.

  • Metric Use and Development - Uses data driven business information (analytics); demonstrates ability to extract insight from analysis; translates impact of solutions via measurable results.

  • Project management and coordination skills

  • Strong working knowledge of Access and Excel required; experience in other reporting tools such as Tableau, Visier or Business Objects a plus..
