POSITION FUNCTION

Perform receptionist, clerical and administrative support; includes answering the telephone, taking messages, greeting students and visitors. Submit faculty travel requests for approval. Perform registrar duties for the department; provide administrative support services to prospective, current, and inactive doctoral students in Special Education; assist and support the director of the doctoral program in Special Education; process all doctoral applications. Assist with department self-study reports and assist with accreditation reports related to the doctoral and undergraduate programs in Special Education. Assist Administrative Coordinator and Department Chair as needed.

MINIMUM EDUCATION

Eighteen months of specialized training or education beyond high school or equivalent.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

One through three years of office, secretarial, or related experience.

AUTHORIZATION TO WORK IN THE US
Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.

PREFERRED EDUCATION

Associates degree or equivalent.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

Experience with Microsoft Office and university systems, (Banner, SciQuest, Argos, TMS, Faculty Enlight), experience in a university setting or additional years of related experience.

Assist program directors with accreditation reports by maintaining student outcome data (proximal and distal data).
