Scope

The Central Regional Business Development Leader (BDL) is
accountable for generating new third party claim administration (TPA) business
for ESIS on a Regional basis. The BDL will help drive current and develop new
sales strategies and manage the business
development managers within the mid-west and southwest regions. The BDL is
responsible for the performance across the region, driving consistent elevation
of individual and organizational sales competencies, and will work to ensure
that the regional strategies are delivered.

 

The BDL will be charged with demonstrating to the external
prospects, brokers, and consultants our commitment across the region. The
individual develops, supports and coordinates sales strategies with internal
departments and regional  operation teams for bundled opportunities, as
well as unbundled opportunities with other carriers and self-insureds.

 

The BDL will be responsible for the development and
achievement of profitable new business results across the region, as well as
tracking, analyzing and reporting the corresponding data and metrics. This
position offers a base salary and is eligible to receive additional incentive
compensation for achieving sales goals.

 

Qualifications


  • 10 + years of sales
    experience in risk management or insurance sales and services.

  • Bachelor's degree in
    marketing, sales, finance or related field

  • Proven ability of strong
    managerial experience with a focus on managing and developing a structured
    and disciplined sales management process across the nation.

  • Demonstrated pattern of
    achieving results and objectives in previous sales roles.

  • Business savvy, profit
    and efficiency orientation.

  • Strong analytical skills
    and effectiveness in tracking, working with and analyzing data

  • Excellent verbal and
    written communications

  • Strong interpersonal
    skills, including effective relationship builder with highly effective
    negotiation and influence skills.

  • High energy level and
    stamina to work and deliver under pressure.

  • Excellent organizational
    skills

  • Proficiency in and use
    of Sales Force or similar CRM tool.

  • Ability to travel 50%.
