Reporting to the Senior Art Director, the Copywriting Manager will be a seasoned professional writer who has strong retail writing experience and is able to bring the Arhaus brand voice to life across all marketing channels. This individual will manage an existing copywriter as well as other freelance writers that we leverage periodically throughout the year. The ideal candidate is passionate about interior design and able to partner with creative, buying and marketing partners to create and amplify compelling campaigns and informative product copy.
Conceptualize and translate written content across all off- and online channels ensuring client voice remains relevant and consistent through catalogs, style guides, direct mail, website, e-mail, social and other assets.
Direct and write copy for a range of purposes from technical product copy to romanced Arhaus copy/storytelling.
Manage internal process with marketing and product development teams to collect and write customer-facing product content.
Drive timelines and content development with creative team for new product launches.
Serve as funnel and liaison between channels to prioritize and execute updates to multi-channel sales collateral.
Partner with director of training to develop educational videos and sales tools based on business pain points.
Contributes written content to other key areas of business including recruiting, real estate team and other occasional special projects that require a clear, consistent voice.
Key areas of content/copywriting contribution will include:
Catalog Copy/General Editor
Arhaus.com (including SEO content)
In-Store Signage/Tagging Materials
Video Scripts (customer-facing & internal-facing)
7+ years related experience as well as direct management experience
Must have a strong portfolio of retail work (ideally track record in home furnishings)
Maintain an executive presence
