The Revenue Analyst role specifically includes but is not limited to: managing the compliance process for a portfolio of Large Affiliate Accounts, cash application, account reconciliation, financial & trending analysis, revenue recognition support, collections, and audit interpretation. The Revenue Analyst will interact regularly with a cross-functional team of internal and external stakeholders and will serve as a subject matter expert for all activities related to their portfolio of clients.


• Manage all activity for assigned affiliates
• Billing/Cash Application/Reconciliation
1. Ensure accurate billing in accordance with legal agreements and remittance data
2. Apply cash in both SAP & AMS (proprietary billing system)
3. Perform cash allocation, transfers, reclassifications, etc.
4. Reconcile monthly payments and invoicing
5. Participate in month-end close process
• Analysis
1. Perform monthly Revenue/Subscriber Flux analysis
2. Analyze historical data to recognize and monitor relevant trends
3. Produce ad hoc analysis to service interdepartmental customers
4. Develop complex models using multiple data sources
5. Develop and communicate independent insights to management
• Compliance/Collections/Audits
1. Monitor Affiliate compliance with new and existing legal agreements
2. Read, interpret, and apply contract terms (must demonstrate clear, and supportable judgment)
3. Articulate areas of specific concern, and recommend solutions to management
4. Work with external customers to resolve AR and payment issues
• Liaise with multiple parties on behalf of the Department and/or Business
1. Work directly with external customers to resolve outstanding issues, and maintain working relationships
2. Work directly with FP&A, Sales, and Legal to support the business, and communicate departmental perspective
3. Work directly with Auditors (Internal/External) to provide information and fieldwork deliverables
• Perform other duties as assigned


* Bachelors in Accounting and/or Finance required
* 3-5 years prior work experience (cable or media industry, preferred)
* Must have the legal right to work in the United States
* Excellent analytical skills, and critical thinking
* Technically proficient in MS Excel (experience with data sets in excess of 100k lines, pivot tables, lookup formulas, IF statements, etc)
* Demonstrated ability to create complex financial models
* Ability to read and comprehend complex legal agreements
* Excellent communication skills
* Ability serve multiple customers (both internal and external)
* Ability to work efficiently, and design/implement process improvements
* Highly organized and able to manage priorities effectively
* Extremely detail oriented
* Must be detail-oriented and able to deliver on multiple timelines, within a customer-centric environment
* Must possess the ability to manage sensitive and confidential issues
* Proactive, effective communication skills with strong organization skills
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
* Exemplary business acumen with the ability to develop and foster positive relationships

* Must have the legal right to work in the United States

It's a plus if you have:

* Proficiency of SAP
* Experience in creating financial and other data models
