The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Human Resources Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Developing and implementing effective strategies that build strong talent pools of qualified candidates

  • Partnering with local organizations and schools for community outreach

  • Leading HR projects that support employee relations and division objectives, partnering with all HR departments as needed

  • Consulting, training and supporting supervisors/managers and employees on HR systems, tools, processes, compliance, policies, etc.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution

  • Minimum of two (2) years Human Resources experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Possess a Master’s degree or higher in Business or Human Resources discipline from an accredited institution

  • Combined five (5) years of experience in various HR functions (including employee relations, diversity, recruiting and onboarding, salary & benefits, disability management, etc.) in a private, public, government, or military environment

  • Ability to exercise influence and guidance to employees and leadership teams

  • Problem solving, performance management, forecasting, short and long-range planning, and conflict resolution skills

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
