Lead, create and standardize applications to support the needs of quality function through defining of system requirements and working with cross-functional teams to support digital data transformation of business. Realizing quality data analytics to predict and improve Jabil product quality.


  • Enable data analytics or visualization for ease of data analysis.

  • Support in application development for supporting the needs of quality function such as quality tools creation to reduce manual manipulation, provide predictive aids, guidance, visual management, implementing preventive measures (mistake-proofing), alert, etc.  

  • Improve shop-floor management to achieve traceability, poke-yoke, process control management, etc. Provide visualization and data analytics to allow for data analysis through drill-down; serving to predict and monitor the state of our manufacturing and product quality.

  • Proactive and ability to recognize area where we can do better and needs from cross functional teams through interface, integrate, etc. to achieve seamless.

  • Work or support cross-functional teams to improve customer metrics to ensure customer satisfaction both external and internal, and meet all regulatory requirements.

  • Provide mentoring and technical assistance to cross-functional teams and sites.

  • Lead and coordinate the standardization of systems, relevant procedures and practices across Florence site / sister sites, including maintenance of the systems as applicable.

  • Ensure that current and future quality and manufacturing systems meet and/or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.

  • Be able to interpret quality data, confirm validity and convert it to actionable knowledge.

  • Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.


  • Job is NOT directly responsible for managing other employees (e.g., hiring/termination and/or pay decisions, performance management).   



  • Knowledge of quality tools and statistics. Preferred at least Green belt certified.

  • Ability to use statistical analysis software such as JMP or Minitab would be preferred.

  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Microsoft and Jabil’s software packages.

  • Ability to work independently and with all stakeholders.

  • Has good communication and interpersonal skill.


  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, quality or industrial/system engineering and 3+ years related experience in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. 

  • Must possess the ability to generate and automate reports and presentations utilizing SQL, VBA, and other programming methods.

  • Must have experience in or a clear understanding of shop-floor management systems.
