Current Need

We are hiring a Senior HRBP supporting the Regional Vice President of Operations for the MMS Central Region (strong preference for Suwanee, GA Distribution Center). The Central Region includes 14 distribution centers in a geography that stretches from Minnesota to New Orleans.   

The Senior HR Business Partner to focus on high-impact support exclusively to senior leaders, ensures alignment between HR and business strategy, such as: leading strategic workforce planning in collaboration with talent management and workforce planning and analytics; and championing organization design, changing culture, and ways of working. The Senior HRBP will work closely with multiple senior leaders in multiple sites across the Central US to assess, anticipate, facilitate and inspire organizational and people related strategies.  

The individual must operate as a strong collaborator and consultant, leveraging relationship skills and business expertise, and provide solutions and recommendations to align, enable, and accelerate both short and long-term business/change objectives.

Additional Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for partnering with Operations Senior Leaders to drive forward the people agenda for large teams of non-exempt warehouse and transportation employees. 

  • Ensures integration of strategy and solutions in partnership with the CoEs and Shared Services. 

  • Drive and influence strategic organizational objectives with senior leaders to evolve and align HR programs and operations within the business.

  • Coaches across senior leadership to enhance leadership abilities, relationships among teams/individuals, interpersonal communications, employee experience, and performance management.

  • Provides/delivers innovative and integrated HR practices around critical business issues.

  • Facilitates future-focused discussions on talent and culture of the organization. 

  • Champions HR solutions with leadership and the businesses supported. 

  • Act as a problem-solving partner to the business. 

  • Develops organization capacity for change and execution for the business.   

  • Focuses on core HRBP work and engages with other Operations HRBPs, CoEs and Shared Services as needed to drive outcomes.

  • Brings data, analytics, benchmark and industry knowledge to business discussion recommendations.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Typical Minimum Qualifications


  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Less years required if has relevant Master’s or Doctorate qualifications. 

Critical Skills


  • 7 years of HR experience in a large, high execution organization

  • Strong positive employee experience/labor experience supporting large teams of non-exempt employees and experience supporting multi-sites and setting strategy for large teams of non-exempts

  • Experience supporting senior teams with a track record of proactive decision making and driving results through strong leadership skills 

  • Strong change and talent management experience, with ability to navigate and influence within a complex, matrixed organization

  • Strong consulting skills, business and financial acumen

  • High level of comfort with data and analytics, with demonstrated strategic, critical, analytical and innovative thinking skills

  • Exceptional communication skills, ability to operate at all levels of the organization.

  • Labor relations/union avoidance

  • Master’s degree

  • SPHR, PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP
