Arcosa Shoring Products, formerly known as Trinity Shoring Products, is seeking a 1st shift Industrial Painter for our Union City, MI operations. As a Painter, you'll prepare, coat, and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What you'll do:

  • Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate, rubber or other material

  • Operate conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces

  • Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula

  • Clean paint lines, paint guns and perform other cleaning preventative maintenance to ensure that painting apparatus remain in working order

  • Initiate and maintain all applicable paperwork as required

  • Regulate the temperature and air circulation in drying ovens

  • Follow all safety rules and practices

  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Minimum of 1 year of industrial painting experience

  • An understanding of the curing process

  • Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area

  • Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently

  • Ability to function as a team member and establish and maintain effective working relationships

  • Regular and predictable attendance
