YOUR ROLE

The operator will routinely run one or more operational pieces of equipment associated within the Gap Pad Cellular processing area. (Kitting, Sheeting, Press 10, PX 5 & 7, PX 6, PX10, PX11 and Streuder Coaters). Also:


  • Ensures that all processes are followed according to job routers, process specifications, engineering change orders (ECO’s), and standard work procedures in a safe operating manner. When in doubt, stops and asks shift lead or manager for assistance. 

  • Requires the precise chemical and physical manipulation of materials and products through the execution of manufacturing instructions, safety procedures, proper waste disposal procedures, standard operating procedures and other production related documentation.  

  • Effectively function within a team environment or work as an individual contributor and is responsible for his/her level of authority for ensuring compliance with all approved policies, procedures, and practices of the facility. 

  • Safely operates Equipment

YOUR SKILLS


  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D Minimum Requirements 

  • Manufacturing experience preferred 

  • Must be trainable to safely operate production equipment, including high lift truck, lift 50 pounds, manipulate drums weighing up to 600 pounds with proper mechanical assists, and maintain daily records for work performed.  

  • The employee frequently is required to sit and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.  

  • Able to work with and around hazardous materials, chemicals, heights, odors, noise and equipment. 

  • Able to life 50 pounds, frequently move around and work on feet for most of the day. 

  • Occasionally sit, view a computer screen, and type on a keyboard for extended periods of times. Verbally communicate one-on-one and in front of groups.

  • Occasionally write by hand and/or type on a keyboard for periods of times.
