Works directly with clients to present solutions and obtain resolution for borrowers who are delinquent and/or have defaulted. Effectively utilizes resources to consistently provide outstanding service to clients.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes and applies sound collection techniques to reduce delinquencies. Contacts borrowers to discuss delinquencies and offer available solutions.
Negotiates account resolution and accurately inputs and documents actions while maintaining company performance and productivity standards
Takes appropriate action as primary point of contact with clients and outside agencies.
Exercises good judgment, initiative and tact during communication with clients, outside agencies and other internal associates.
Escalates and assists other team members with calls as needed.
May be required to initiate external contact with customers and may perform advanced loss prevention activities or administrative work.
Performs other duties as required.
Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

Ability to work independently and within the team on assignments and projects
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with high degree of accuracy
Strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive information
Ability to operate standard office equipment, such as, computer work stations, typewriters, calculators, and copier
Education and/or Experience:
High School Diploma or GED
1 year related experience in direct customer contact, service, or collections
Previous collections experience preferred
Computer and Software Skills:
Skilled in operation of a personal computer, including Microsoft Office
Strong knowledge in Excel
Google Mail, Sheets and Docs
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
Limited travel is expected for this position.
