Belcampo is seeking a Prep Cook to assist with setting up workstations and ingredients to ensure food can be prepared according to recipes and our high culinary standards. What you bring to the table:
Are naturally kind and maintain an optimistic demeanor with a personal commitment and passion for delivering the highest level of service - we are customer centric and make people happy.
Have at least 1 year of full-service or upscale Quick Service Restaurant as a Line Cook with the ability to follow recipes.
Basic understanding in all stations of the line, including grill and saute, as well as skills with knives, tools and kitchen equipment.
Knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures including the ability to work cleanly, safely, and efficiently.
Ability to operate effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly to ensure smooth service operations and preparation of high quality food.

What you’ll mostly do:
Prepare all cold and hot food items using prep worksheets and direction from Sous Chefs and Executive Chef.
Maintain and assure the highest level of quality for all prepared food products.
Assess the quantity and quality of prep stations and “mise en place” throughout shift; keep station(s) clean and organized, including regular deep cleanings
Follow proper knife safety procedures and best practices.
Stock and maintain sufficient levels of food ingredients on the line - food preparation and portioning prior to service.
Operate oven and hot prep equipment; ensure proper time and temperatures of all hot and cooked foods.
Ensure compliance with local Health Department other federal, state, and local regulations.
Complete station inventories and checklists.
You’ll likely do some of this:
Continuously bend, reach, twist and use hands and arms.
Stand for extended periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a confined area with elevated temperatures.
