PACU RN - 60 Hours Every Two Weeks at The Nemours Foundation in Wilmington, Delaware

Nemours is seeking a Registered Nurse for our PACU unit.

The PACU is restricted to immediate postoperative and/or critical care patients. Patients who receive general, spinal or epidural anesthesia as well as patients from medical imaging/special procedures may be admitted to the PACU.  Patients having a procedure done under local anesthesia and/or IV sedation and are judged by the anesthesia provider/surgeon to need close monitoring of vital signs may also be admitted.  Phase II recovery includes coordination of patient discharge education and instructions. In periods of high census, the PACU will care for patients classified as Outpatients with Extended Recovery, overnight.


  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN required, or currently enrolled in a BSN Program

  • Must have critical care experience

  • Previous experience in pediatric nursing required

  • PALS Certification Required

  • Current registration with Delaware State Board of Nursing
