Job Summary:

As part of the global diversified building products group, CRH plc, Building Products Division is currently recruiting for the position of FP&A manager within the Corporate Finance team based in Atlanta, GA. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely analysis and review of management/financial reporting, review of investment/capex proposal documents and analytic support.  This role interacts with the operating businesses every day with a focus on high quality reporting plus process simplification and improvement.  This is a key position within CRH Building Products Division finance team and will receive significant exposure to senior CRH management teams.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions):

  • Review monthly reporting and commentaries to parent before submission and provide explanations as necessary

  • Work closely with parent company in support of CRH plc public reporting requirements including review of bi-annual reporting packs

  • Compile and review Building Products Division reporting including holding companies

  • Coordinate deep-dive analysis of operating company variances

  • Independently provide insights and highlight trends in reporting information.  Develop and suggest new KPIs or reporting formats to improve reporting quality

  • Review documents prepared to support major acquisition and capex investments.  Track approvals and spend on capex projects.

  • Develop presentation materials for executive and board level meetings

  • Prepare and review investor relations documents

  • Key lead for creation and consolidation of five-year strategic plan financial projections

  • Adhoc analysis as required for senior management

  • Identify and implement process improvement and automation opportunities to increase productivity that optimizes data efficiency and quality including working closely on this with the EPM team

  • Build strong relationships with the finance teams in the operating companies and Group finance

  • Perform and evidence SOX controls as required

  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company 

  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required 

  • Travel around 10%

  • Other duties as directed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing, construction or related industry

  • Expert proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel and Hyperion

  • Must have expert proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • MBA or CPA desirable
