General Summary:

To coordinate all equipment receiving, mail processing, office supply, copying, data retention and destruction services.

Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required (if applicable):

N/A

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

High school graduate or GED

Two years experience with receiving supply chain system, high speed copier, automated mail processor, shredder and adding machine

Ability to function with minimal supervision and provide direction to other departmental staff.

Independent judgment and insight needed to evaluate situations correctly as well as foresight to avoid complications.

Working Conditions:

Physical Requirements: Medium work. Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts at distances close to the eyes.

Environmental Conditions: The worker is subject to hazards. Includes a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals.

Reporting Relationship:

Minimal supervision provided. Identifies needs and develops and implements programs with the results being checked and verified by the Manager and/or Director. The development of policies and problem solving accomplished with the assistance of the Manager and/or Director.
