As a Manager Requirements Planning, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for participating in the development of Material Readiness strategies, programs, process and procedures to drive optimal inventory performance through data analysis and analytical review utilizing continual improvement tools and methodologies. Ensure inventory and customer fill performance meet or exceed expectations.
Key accountabilities include:
Analyze various aspects of total inventory liability and the effects on customer order fill, cash flow and inventory turnover goals. All material functions affected by this position must be regularly scrutinized for continuous improvement opportunities.
Manage and direct Inventory Analysts within the department. Support the development of staff's competencies through realizing development opportunities, engagement, and career planning that support individual and business goals/objectives.
Aggressively pursue continual improvement opportunities throughout the stock replenishment cycle, from Inventory Readiness, through the Receiving process, with the goal of improving efficiency or accelerating material throughput.
Provide coaching oversight and assistance in the analysis and resolution of material or process issues within the material throughput cycle.
In collaboration with Supply Chain, perform regular analysis of part price break and EOQ calculations, to ensure optimal performance. Participate in the development and/or enhancement of IT applications both within the scope of the function, where appropriate to drive continual improvement. Perform analysis and/or generate reporting exhibiting current performance and developing trends to aid in the identification of process adjustments to improve performance.
BS degree in related field and5+ years extensive related experience or9 years of extensive related experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Specialized knowledge and experience with forecasting, requirements planning, mathematical and financial analysis.
Proven critical thinking and project management experience utilizing current continual improvement tools and methodologies
Excellent Leadership, Communication (verbal and written), Problem Solving and Organizational skills
