DESCRIPTION

The Department of Philosophy at the University of California, Riverside is seeking to hire a part-time lecturer to teach the course listed below. Starting dates for Spring Quarter 2020 (04/01/20 - 06/15/20).

Salary: Based on rate of approximately $6,263.00 per course.

Qualifications: Qualified applicants will have an M.A. or higher, and one year of teaching experience at the collegiate level. Advanced graduate work in Philosophy (ABD or Ph.D.) is a preferred qualification. The textbook that we use for this course is Larry Wright, Critical Thinking: An Introduction to Analytical Reading and Reasoning (Oxford). Applicants should show familiarity with this textbook.

Duties: Undergraduate teaching of the course listed above.
