Job Description:

Arcadis is currently seeking a Site Manager/Project Task Manager to join our Field Technical Solutions team in Pasadena, Texas. This position you will oversee a group of operators and technicians 24-hour operation and maintenance of a leachate pre-injection treatment facility. The ideal candidate will have groundwater/leachate treatment system operation and maintenance experience, an aptitude for mechanical and electrical problem solving, and task management experience.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:


  • Lead/Supervise a team of approximately 6 to 8 operators and technicians

  • Injection system operation, maintenance, and monitoring

  • Manage all Arcadis and Client driven health and safety requirements

  • Oversee subcontractors to perform selected operation, maintenance/repair of systems, preventative maintenance.

  • Oversee operators and technicians on all aspects of system operation, maintenance and repairs when required on the pretreatment injection facility

  • Construction oversight treatment system repairs construction, and facility demolition

  • Ability/Aptitude to be client facing

  • Site and system Inspections

Qualified Candidates will have:


  • Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical controls for treatment system

  • Aptitude with data management and ability to steward data collection and transfer from field staff to office staff

  • Mechanical aptitude with system operation

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Ability to work Independently and in a team setting

  • Availability to work on nights and weekends as the plant requires to ensure continued operation

Required Qualifications


  • High School Diploma

  • 2-3 years experience in a supervisory role

  • 5-6 years operations and maintenance experience

Preferred Qualifications


  • Associates or Bachelors Degree

  • ARC Flash NFPA 70 Training

  • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training

  • DOT HazMat Shipping training

  • 30 Hour Construction Safety training
