The Storeroom Team Leader supervises a group of employees responsible for custody of equipment, materials, parts, accessories, and the maintenance of accurate records.
What You Will Do:
Supervises activities such as receiving, transporting, stacking, order filling, shipping and maintaining equipment, materials, stock, parts, accessories, etc.
Develops, coaches and mentors peers, indirect and subordinate staff.
Recommends and establishes training resources and career development for those managed.
Runs and analyzes inventory and transaction reports.
Traces history of items to determine reasons for discrepancies between inventory and stock control records and recommends remedial action to resolve discrepancies.
Ensures budgetary compliance.
Monitors effectiveness of systems, policies and procedures and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient; implements approved changes.
What You Need:
High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years experience leading an inventory team or department reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; or 6 years of inventory experience to include 2 years experience leading an inventory team or department reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Available to remedy employee scheduling issues as they occur during swing and graveyard shifts.
Required to lift and move up to 100 pounds.
What Will Set You Apart:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Accounting plus 5 years of inventory experience to include 2 years experience leading an inventory team or department reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
Experience effectively presenting information to top management, public groups and boards of directors.
