Job Description:


SUMMARY OF PROGRAM/PROJECT

Working in close co-operation with the business customers and IT teams, the Sr.Testing Analyst applies analytical and business skills to evaluate existing and identify new or enhanced systems, products and processes which advance business objectives. The Sr. Testing Analyst also develops, manages, and executes all phases of quality assurance testing, including analysis of product requirements to produce test requirements, and development and execution of functional/system test plans in a multi-tiered environment.

POSITION DESCRIPTION (Duties and Responsibilities):


  • Develop Test Plans
  • Design and develop test scenarios/ business scenarios
  • Develop manual Test Cases/Test Scripts
  • Develop automation Test Scripts/Test Cases
  • Traces requirements to test cases to ensure coverage
  • Ensures functional and technical requirements are met through user acceptance testing, regression testing, usability testing and system interface testing
  • Designs, develops and executes reusable test cases and procedures based on requirements relevant to automated test planning and creation
  • Design an automation framework that can be used to test interfaces and REST APIs at a component level
  • Identifies, creates and secures test data as necessary
  • Performs functional administration, configuration, and utilization of testing tools
  • Collects, tracks and reports test metrics and briefs management on test status
  • Analyze data validation and perform root cause analysis in Oracle database
  • Perform independent verification of test-related artifacts as well as test processes
  • Lead testing projects and provide test estimates, test reports

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • 3 - 5 years of Testing experience within the financial services industry or equivalent in the US
  • Ability to formalize test results into a document that communicates the findings
  • Experience with development of test plans; test strategy, manual test cases for internal and external parties
  • Experience in developing automated test cases using Selenium and Cucumber or TestNG framework
  • Experience leading testing projects, and establishing test estimates and producing test reports
  • Strong experience in manual and automation test execution in an Agile, DevOps and CI/CD environment
  • Highly effective written, oral communication skills and excellent organizational skills
  • Proven success in leading projects and Skilled at establishing test estimates, test reports and communications.
  • Proficient at supervising day-to-day testing activity, training and mentoring small project teams.
  • Ability to perform an independent evaluation of test-related artifacts including requirements, test plans, test cases and test results.
  • Has experience or knowledge in performance testing (load and stress)

Security Clearance Requirement:


  • Moderate background investigation

Minimum Requirements:


  • At least 5 years' recent experience in leading and executing quality assurance projects
  • At least 5 years' experience in performing requirements analysis
  • Extensive experience (at least 4 years) in:

    • Creating overall testing strategies and an automation framework
    • Writing detailed test plans, test scenarios, test cases, RTM and test reports

  • Knowledge of STLC
  • Tools and Frameworks: One or more: ALM, JIRA, Selenium, Java, Jenkins GitHub/SVN, Cucumber, TestNG, Eclipse IDE, Junit,


Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Technology or related field with at least 5 years of software testing experience
