Position Overview

The Vice President, Analytic Solutions works with clients and internal teams to deliver analytic solutions and recommendations that will delight our clients and help drive their growth.


The role creates NPD growth primarily by leading the design and delivery of analytics projects and resulting recommendations, in order to drive client impact, client satisfaction, and strong repeat business. This role will lead up to half of the North American analytic solutions team. As a senior leader in the organization, you will also participate directly in selling, product discovery, and training activities.

Responsibilities

This role leads teams working across our analytics portfolio, including analytic reporting, price and promotion analytics, segmentation, market sizing, and market forecasting. You will be accountable for helping to create the environment and managing the processes needed to ensure that our work delivers high-impact recommendations, offered to clients with a clear and compelling story about the actions they should take to succeed. This includes:
  • Work with industry practice, sales, and marketing teams to ensure our capabilities are positioned correctly and matched to client situations where they can create the most positive impact
  • Synthesize, probe, and structure client needs, to design analytics projects that resolve valuable questions and lead to clear client actions
  • Provide project design, client investment, timing, and feasibility inputs into client proposals
  • Manage a process for assigning resources to projects based on skills, availability, geography, and experience
  • Coach teams and facilitate processes to ensure quality delivery of project plans, kickoff meetings, data management activities, modeling activities, client presentations, and post-project business impact and satisfaction tracking
  • Help drive an appropriate mix of highly-automated and more customized projects over time, including an appropriate level of advice in our work
  • Ensure that sufficient resources in our team are trained on the methodologies and processes needed to deliver projects
  • Recruit and retain strong talent to cover current and future project needs
  • Collaborate with product teams to prioritize development efforts to align with client needs

  • Willingness to travel as needed, up to 40%
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
