JOB DUTIES: Develop data structure and code for a functional verification environment including bus functional models, driver, and predictors to test reference. Develop tests and tuning environment to achieve coverage goals. Debug failures and work with designer to resolve issue. Provide test plan development for hardware functionality and reliability evaluation. Turn verification tests into hardware tests pattern, including modify existing environments to fix problem or include new hardware features in the next generation products. Develop test plan development, validation board schematic design, automation development, test execution and test report generation. Participate in implementation and verification of high performance and low power ARM based SOC. Work with FPGA prototyping for ASIC design and evaluation. Understand test-benches for chip prototypes bring-up and verification. Participate in post-silicon validation and integrate circuit performance characterization.
REQUIREMENTS: Master's or foreign equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
Must have the following skills set (evidenced by at least 6 months full-time work experience or graduate-degree coursework) involved in:
1. Computer Architecture, transceiver architecture, computer Network, or data communication;
2. Communication IC Design, digital and analog design;
3. silicon power analysis or characterization;
4. VLSI design, CMOS device, digital circuit, layout, synthesis and simulation;
5. lab equipment experience using either oscilloscope, logic analyzer, network analyzer, signal source analyzer or RF test equipment with signal integrity and function generator;
6. Hardware programming through USB or other computer interface.
