About the Role

We are looking for a Commissioned Bank Examiner to lead and participate in examinations as part of our continuous supervision model for banks and bank holding companies in our Regional Banking Organization portfolio. You will accomplish this by assessing risks and risk management practices associated with credit, operational, market, and overall governance frameworks of supervised organizations. You will be based in Dallas, TX.

You Will


  • Partner with other safety and soundness examiners in a team environment to effectively build supervisory plans for Regional Banking Organizations in the Dallas area.



  • Analyze bank policies, procedures and controls related to safety and soundness examinations and inspections.



  • Collaborate with examiners, risk specialists, representatives from Texas Department of Banking and analysts from the Board of Governors to recommend a variety of regulatory assessments.



  • Develop work papers to document your analysis and support your conclusions.



  • Build and maintain relationships with examination team members and business lines.



You Will Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, audit or other business related field of study preferred.


  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in banking, financial services, or banking supervision; experience in audit preferred.


  • Bank Examination Accreditation preferred.


  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.



The Team
  • You will work with a team of five other team members, four that work in Dallas and one in Houston, all of them collaborating to ensure supervisory events are conducted in an organized manner and accurately present current assessments of risk exposure and the quality of risk management practices of assigned organizations.
