As Sr. Agile Coach in our Business Agility Team, you will contribute to and implement a strategy for our business units and enterprise to grow on their journey towards Agility.
You will work highly entrepreneurial as part of a small team to iterate on Agile & DevOps strategy, influence and coach executives, leaders, business units on implementing Agile principles, making them stick and so optimizing their value streams. You will link various functions across the business to all align on and contribute to the aims of the Agile & DevOps strategy. Main responsibilities
Contribute to Agile & DevOps strategy definition iteratively and via co-creation.
Influence and coach leaders and teams across the business to adopt and implement this strategy. Walk alongside them in creating alignment and defining actions for their units in an inspect & adapt fashion.
Install the right systemic structures to support the Agile journey and make it stick.
Coach and train various key roles around mindset, principles and practices.
Create, build, and deliver customized Agile training.
Effectively engage and coach a broad range of contributors from diverse functions across the business to act as multipliers for the initiative.
Expose our organization to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility at the Enterprise level.
Generating "Pull" in the organization by the right mix of listening and selling the benefits of Agile.
Who are you?
BSc or MSc in Software Engineering or equivalent in a similar field
8+ years of relevant experience in a broad range of Agile setups, of which 2+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience. As a plus, a couple years' experience as part of an Agile consultancy.
Deep knowledge of Agile & DevOps principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization.
Senior Agile Leadership skills with an ability to lead by example and challenge command and control behaviors.
Good knowledge and practical experience on Kanban, Scrum, Enterprise Agility topics like Agile HR, Beyond Budgeting etc., engagement models like Open Space, Agendashift and Agile @ Scale concepts like LeSS, SAFe, Nexus etc.
Proven track record of effective lateral leadership and engaging a broad range of stakeholders to contribute to an Agile initiative.
Proven ability to work highly independent while balancing this with the characteristic to fully play as part of a team.
Excellent presentation and training skills.
