Responsible for all accounting activities centered around maintaining the general ledger, bank reconciliation and preparations of financial statements on a daily, weekly and semi-monthly basis.
Maintain fixed assets module, book all fixed asset entries and depreciation.
Responsible for analysis of the received not invoiced account on a monthly basis.
Accountable for the verification of printed checks versus invoice and purchase order and circulation of check for proper signatures.
Accountable for summarizing inventory movements and preparation of information for journal entries into the general ledger on a monthly basis.
Responsible for preparing or assisting in preparing monthly reporting
Responsible for the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
Assist the Assistant Controller in month end close activities including all general ledger entries.
Accountable for cross-training in Accounts Payable Clerk job responsibilities and providing coverage on an 'as needed' basis.
Participate in Departmental Meetings and actively assist in reaching Department's goals.
Participate and add value as a member of the Accounting Department.
Engages in effective communication within and across all departments.
Participate in Company Safety Program through safety meetings, audits, following good safe work practices and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.

Expert Know How/Knowledge:
SAP experience preferred and MS Office.
Manufacturing industry experience preferred.

Expected (Educational) Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
3-5 years of Accounting experience
Manufacturing experience preferred
