Job Description:

thyssenkrupp Airport Systems is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Control - Cost Planner to join our world class team in Ft. Worth, TX. The Cost Planner prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specification and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements. The ideal candidate will be organized, experienced and have strong interpersonal skills.

  • Estimates cost to be incurred in for any manufacturing work to be done. This is achieved by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents for:

    - New tenders

    - Customer changers

    - Engineering changes

    - Improvements to product

    The cost planner identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, forecast plans.

  • Education and/or Experience: Engineering, Manufacturing engineering environment, Manufacturing control, manufacturing budget estimator, manufacturing cost planning.

    Language Skills: English.

    Computer Skills:

    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook)

    • Basic to Intermediate skills in SAP

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
    • None required
