FLIR Systems Project Intern, Co-Op Student

Job Description:  Project Intern, Co-Op Student

Looking for a project management student to be part of a multi-discipline engineering team developing state-of-the-art airborne, land and maritime stabilized, long-range, EO/IR imaging systems.  The job is diverse and daily activities are dynamic to fulfill our important mission to Save Lives and Livelihood.  Looking for an enthusiastic person who want to jump in and get things done with a group of top notch engineers.


  • Assist in project management duties related to work breakdown structure and progress tracking

  • Interact with design team

  • Create tools and process to automate repetitive work

  • Create status reports

  • Collect and consolidate data from multiple sources

Minimum Skills:

  • Engineering or business students currently enrolled in a four-year degreed programs within their junior or senior year

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

  • Good written and verbal communications skills

  • Self-motivated, takes ownership

Highly Desired Skills:

  • Familiar with project management

  • Microsoft Project

  • Microsoft Power Point

Bonus Skills:
  • Familiar with product design and engineering
