Job Summary

You will provide administrative and process-oriented support to leaders and staff of the Economics Research department. Responsibilities include administering the department's confidential information distribution process during established cycles throughout the year and ensuring operational and control standards are followed diligently. Additionally, you will provide traditional administrative support to leaders within the department, including calendaring, meeting logistics, and visitor arrangements. Both sets of responsibilities require problem solving, decision-making and analytical skills to meet changing business needs.

This position will provide an opportunity for a highly organized critical thinker with strong communications skills and a high level of professional etiquette to work closely with senior staff in a critical function of the Federal Reserve.

Responsibilities


  • Administers and manages control processes related to confidential information in accordance with the Bank's information security policies and procedures


  • Maintains schedules, meetings, travel itineraries, and related plans for leadership team Assists in planning and execution of meetings including: securing meeting space, developing invitations and communications with attendees, coordinating written materials, managing staff members involved with the meeting and other related tasks


  • C oordinates small- to medium-sized projects on behalf of the department and/or participates in larger Department and/or District strategic projects


  • Provides analysis findings and recommendations on simple to moderately complex analysis projects


  • Identifies inaccuracies/ errors in data and makes recommendations to remedy errors


  • Assists in providing varied administrative support to the department including, but not limited to, maintaining files and leave records, proofreading, processing internal work orders/requests (e.g., travel reimbursements, office supplies), and processing forms (e.g., telephone, facilities, expense check requests, etc.)


  • Perform any other duties as assigned
