Position (part-time): Head Women’s Volleyball Club Coach

Stevens Institute of Technology invites applications for the part-time position of Head Women’s Volleyball Club Coach. Stevens is a member of the MAC-Freedom, ECAC and NCAA Division III and offers 25 varsity sports (13 for men and 12 for women), 13 club sports, a wide variety of intramural sports and special events, an extensive outdoor adventure program and a wide selection of wellness/fitness classes. Located in Hoboken, New Jersey, a historic small town that is just minutes away from Manhattan, Stevens has an enrollment of approximately 3000 undergraduate students.

This position is responsible for developing student athletes regarding departmental and team rules and enforces policies and procedures outlined in student athlete handbook. Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred. Previous coaching experience at the collegiate level is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities: Manage all aspects of a competitive Head Women’s Volleyball Club Coach program. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, planning and direction of team practices; oversight of the team’s schedule; coordination of team travel; being present at all practices; and attend all home and away competitions. Work on weekends and evenings and overnight travel is required; additional duties to be determined by the Director of Campus Recreation.

Salary:  Commensurate with qualifications and experience.
