Manually pull labels from label bin. 3. Rubber bands together the appropriate amount of labels per order. 4. Verify correct variety of labels and correct count per order. 5. Repetitive counting of labels. 6. Separate orders by dock number and separate docks by loads. 7. Assembly envelopes and stakes for roses. 8. Manually apply pricing stickers to labels. 9. Maintain a clean and safe environment. 10. Recognize special customer needs. 11. Hand dexterity, standing, walking, lifting up to 25 lbs., bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling. 12. Supervisory Responsibility 1. This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment 0. This job is performed outdoors in inclement weather (hot, cold, and rainy) conditions. 1. The craftsman is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, odors or airborne particles. 2. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate within the proximity; Loading dock, tractors and other heavy equipment may be operating at the same time. 3. There is constant traffic surrounding this work environment including vehicles, tractors, and heavy equipment. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a craftsman to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. 0. While performing the duties of this job, the craftsman is regularly required to have full range of mobility in upper and lower body; be able to reach overhead; be able to work in various positions, including stooping, standing, walking, bending over, squatting for extended periods of time; be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks; and be able to frequently lift a minimum of 30 pounds of weight and occasionally lift 50 or more pounds of weight throughout the assigned workday. 1. The craftsman is constantly required to use hands and fingers to feel, handle plants or operate objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. 2. The craftsman is required to perform repetitive body movements for eight (8) to ten (10) hours per day, which include standing, walking, lifting, squatting, stooping, bending, reaching, pulling, and pushing. 3. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work 0. This is a Full time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., during the off season and includes Saturday work from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. during the shipping season. Additional work hours may apply depending on the business needs. Required Education and Experience 0. Driving skills are not required 1. No prior experience or training required 2. No specific education is required Preferred Skills 0. Experience working in an outdoor environment and/or agricultural field experience is preferred 1. Basic math, reading and writing are preferred 2. Tractor or forklift experience is preferred 3.
