The Study Manager I position is a non-bench role that works closely with customers and the lab in order to effectively manage the customer interaction with GENEWIZ

Responsibilities:

 Provide NGS consultation for complex projects

 Draft complex quotes

 Review simple NGS quotes from Associate Study Managers

 Train Associate Study Managers

 Participate in direct phone line for cold customer calls and scheduled teleconferences

 Optimize pre-sales and quoting workflow

 Serve as the main point of contact for select external customers, including, but not limited to:

o General pre-sales inquiries

o Complex project design

o Progress reports

o Technical support/troubleshooting

Qualifications :

* PhD or equivalent combination of degree and years of experience required

* 3+ years relevant experience required

* In-depth knowledge of NGS techniques, applications, and platforms is required

* Prior scientific technical support and troubleshooting experience is required

* Project management experience recommended

* Excellent interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, is required

* Ability to efficiently, accurately, and succinctly communicate complex information is required

* Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
