We are currently searching for a Manager, Customer Marketing - National Accounts at our Corporate Office located in Greensboro, North Carolina.

In this role, you will work with and report directly to the Senior Director, Marketing, and Planning to optimize ITG Brands' engagement with key customer channels by developing customer programs to support the overall commercial objectives of ITG Brands. In this highly visible role, the incumbent will work closely with stakeholders from Brand Marketing, National Accounts, Category Insights, and Business Intelligence.

The Manager, Customer Marketing- National Accounts is responsible for optimizing ITGB's engagement with key customer channels by developing novel customer programs that support the overall commercial objectives of ITG Brands. The incumbent will work closely with a cross-functional matrix of stakeholders from Brand Marketing, National Accounts, Category Insights, and Business Intelligence functions to develop a customer roadmap that drives the brand strategies through our key National Accounts platform while influencing the shopper path to purchase. As Manager, Customer Marketing, you will work closely with key category insights leaders to define, develop and champion ITGB's shopper engagement and category story to enhance the company's customer engagement and Joint Business Planning process. This role requires strong experience working with key customer assets, development of compelling digital platforms, category insights development, and brand marketing. The Manager, Customer Marketing- National Accounts will report to the Senior Director- Customer Marketing and Planning.

Job Requirements
  • Partner with Brand Marketing to translate, adapt, and scale brand marketing programs into actionable customer programs rooted in shopper insights and addressing key dimensions around channel/customer/consumer (CCC) needs.
  • Partner with the National Accounts team to understand channel and account-specific challenges and work with internal stakeholders to develop novel customer engagement solutions, loyalty programs, unique trade incentives, digital tools, distribution incentives, pack offers, etc.
  • Own the ITG Brands strategic development of digital tools working closely with the National Account teams to achieve specific chain account needs that are aligned with ITG Brands' CCC engagement framework.
  • Liaise closely with the Category Insights leaders to define the ITG Brands category story and the shopper path to purchase across key channels.
  • Source and distill key trade insights, competitive programs, and multi-category contracts- with incisive recommendations to evolving ITG Brands trade programs to stay competitive across the value chain (wholesale/retail).
  • Develop the toolkit and drive the incorporation of innovative best in class CPG customer engagement strategies and consumer loyalty programs that address specific channel challenges.

  • Leverage insights and internal reports to identify high ROI customer-specific initiatives and programs that align with retailer strategies and shopper needs while meeting internal timelines.
  • Support the ITG Brands Joint Business Planning process and attend scheduled JBP meeting to provide specific customer solutions to address key chain account/channel challenges.
  • Scheduled customer visits working with key national and regional chain account managers.
  • Utilize enterprise insights and analytical tools to uncover key category, consumer, and customer opportunities. These include but not limited to, MSAi, IRI, Numerator, and insights from Shopper Segmentation platforms/Multi-Category Smoker Structure, etc.
  • Analyze post-program results, providing a thorough analysis of program performance vs. KPI's, and ensuring key learnings are implemented in go-live plans.
  • Manage the customer marketing program budget.
  • Role model the ITG Brands Leadership Expectations.

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience in CPG sales and / or brand marketing.
  • Experience working within a National/Regional chain account and understanding of key customer assets is a plus for this role.
  • Experience building and executing shopper marketing solutions executed throughout the path to purchase, with a high focus on digital/pre-shop expertise
  • Experience with data analytics and development of incisive presentations.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to navigate a highly matrixed cross-functional organization

  • The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $113,000
