This role will partner with the Director of Logistics and the Supply Chain leadership team on strategic initiatives and execution. Serving as the Logistics point on all Supply Chain initiatives, this individual will have varying level of work effort on different projects driving cost savings and process improvement in both inbound and outbound transportation. Responsibilities include functional and operational expertise and guidance, project support, and analysis validation to ensure projects and continuous improvement initiatives are executed successfully.
Identify and develop plans to improve process and performance across the Transportation organization.
Partner with Transportation and Supply Chain leadership team members on their specific business unit initiatives, identifying methods to execute and ensuring successful implementation
Communicate and present progress of initiatives to business leaders.
Participate in the development of short and long-term strategy and execution plans for various projects.
Identify and troubleshoot solutions for bottlenecks that improve progress on projects.
Provide analytical validation to support business initiatives and recommendations
Collaborate effectively with Supply Chain team to ensure a unified and efficient approach to management and execution of initiatives.
Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement business initiatives.
Performs other relevant job duties as required.
Education/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree required, in Business preferred.
5-8+ years relevant experience, relevant food distribution experience preferred
Continuous Improvement experience preferred

Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
