NTT DATA, Inc., a top 10 global IT services company, has an immediate need for a Release Manager in Parsippany, NJ.

The Release Management team manages the release lifecycle for all code changes in our non-prod and production environments.
The RMO manages the process and planning of all code deployments: scheduling and controlling deployments through the test, build deploy project cycle and across all non-prod and production environments.

Essential Job Functions:
- The release manager is responsible for managing the release process, which includes:
- Planning for the release
- Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) and user acceptance tests have been completed
- Develops and reviews detailed release plans based on IBOPs submitted for each RFC
- There will be two levels of release implementation plan reviews:
- Onsite RMO team reviews the plan with the SMEs
- Second round of implementation plan review will be performed by the offshore RMO Team.
- The implementation plan will be baselined only after the before mentioned two rounds of review are completed.
- Coordinates all project teams associated with the release
- Ensures that releases are implemented according to the approved timeline, with system integrity and availability maintained.
- Manages post implementation review performed after the release and applies lessons learned from previous releases.
- Maintain monthly dashboard of reporting metrics and communications

- Knowledge of Plutora a plus
- Strong collaboration skills
- Strong experience and knowledge of change management & release principles / methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills
- Process-focused and detail-oriented
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in constantly changing situations
- Ability to filter opinions; does not reflexively react
- 5+ years Release Management experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Change Management.
- ITIL Training
