RESPONSIBILITIES

Assist supervisor with routine duties and complete ongoing tasks.

Act as Office receptionist by greeting and directing visitors, screening calls, scheduling appointments, responding to routing questions regarding the Student Health Care Center.

Check patients in and out.

Establishes and maintains various computerized and paper files, records and logs.

Maintain a tally of daily visits, monthly visits, semester visits and fiscal year visits.

Scan lab results, image results, and other patient documentation into Electronic Medical Records System.

Contact hospital and doctors offices for medical records as needed.

Provide documentation of visits and immunization to studetns/patients and medical facilities requesting medical records.

Maintain office supplies and follows budgeting guidelines including licensing procedures.

Notify director of cureent budget status and any descrepancies.

Place charges acquired at Clinic from lab tests, procedures on to Student's accounts.

Maintain privacy and confidentiality of students/patients acroding to NYIT clinic policies laws.

Provide pamphlets/brochures to studetns and campus organizations when requested.

Maintain lobby/waiting room cleanliness.

Schedule and coordinate (ie meetings, department calendar, special events)

Attemd meetings, including taking meeting minutes and/or transcribing dictation.

Place charges acquired at Clinic form lab tests, procedures on to Student's accounts.

Process PO requisitions dn invoices for payment for clinic.

Liaison between patients and/or Office Manager and/or Dean.

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma plus 2-3 year's of Administrative Support experience, or Associates Degree or higher with 1-2 year's of Administrative support experience is required.

Must have excellent interpersonal skills and solid administrative/organizational skills in a clinic setting.

Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment as well as work indpendently and in a team environment.

Proficiency in Micorosoft Office, including Word and Excel is required.

Computer literate - e.g., the ability to organize virtual meetings, use of ZOOM etc., and quickly learn new systems/software packages.
