Customer Service & Logistics 


Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf. 


Purpose of Role 


As the Supply Planning Lead for Alternate Channels, this role supports all packaging and raw material goods and services to satisfy business requirements and develop programs that coordinate execution of materials across cross-functional groups. Lead the development and management of inventory replenishment strategies for packaging, Work-in-Process (WIP), and ingredients (where applicable). Goal is to optimize the balance between supply availability, inventory investment and risk of obsolescence. Lead the development and execution of RPW inventory reduction initiatives with plants and vendors in partnership with Material Planning, ensure cash flow targets are met. Key focus is to manage capacity plans for Repacking operations which support Alt Channels. Lead and develop direct reports, define goals and objectives for responsible category and team members. Develop and lead all commercialization and promotional activities for the assigned category.
Effectiveness in this position will require consideration of supply chain trends, capabilities, emerging efficiencies and individual business situations. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and be capable of effective relationships and negotiations with senior level customer and Mondelēz Executives and peers. 

Job Responsibilities 


  • Manage and consolidate volume requirements for financial forecasting and AC processes.

  • Lead all new product introductions, formula changes, copy changes and discontinuations in partnership with Business Development & Commercialization (BD&C)

  • Develop and execute inventory tie-out and write-off exposure consistent with business strategies.

  • Drive collaborative capacity meetings with key vendors to identify and correct areas of concern to ensure a continuous supply of materials to the Business Unit.

  • Ensure implementation of the operational component of our customer strategies through communication and collaboration with Customer Service, Field Sales and Logistics Operations.

  • Manages activities of direct reports and is responsible for executing talent and performance management. 


  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations or related field

  • 7+ year’s minimum experience in Supply Chain or Procurement especially Production and Replenishment Planning

  • Strong Analytical skills, including experience with Excel, SAP-BI

  • Strong knowledge of Business Processes and Materials applications (SAP, Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Should have strong understanding of finished goods inventory and manufacturing capacity management.

  • Demonstrated leadership with experience developing direct reports.

  • Results driven with strong problem solving skills.
