Job Title: Architecture and Engineering Project Manager

Salary range $60,000 - $70,000  DOE

Supervisor/Manager: Director of Architecture

Maverik’s Architecture & Engineering Project Manager is involved in all phases of architectural and engineering work, including planning and designing of convenience store and gas stations. This position is also involved in the coordination of new building designs, remodels, extensions and alterations of existing sites. Our Architecture & Engineering Project Manager’s overall objective is to match the Company’s needs while producing sustainable, functional, economical and aesthetically pleasing stores.

What You’ll do as an Architecture and Engineering Project Manager:

  • Manage construction document production by external consultants and drawing QA/QC

  • Manage consultant fees, schedules and invoices to ensure projects are on budget and on time

  • Work with Entitlement/Planning Department to prepare preliminary design packages

  • Provide due diligence support regarding development of new and altering existing Maverik C-Store locations

  • Conduct site visits to check on project status and provide in-field support as necessary

  • Work closely with other Maverik “Build Team” members (real estate, entitlements and construction professionals)

  • Additional responsibilities as assigned

You’ll be a Great Fit if You Have:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Engineering or related field

  • At least 3 years of project management experience

  • Retail design experience (preferred)

  • Autodesk Revit and/or CAD experience preferred

  • Primavera P6 experience a plus

  • A proficiency in MS Office Suite

  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the organization

  • Strong communication, relationship, interpersonal and team building skills

  • A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record is required for this role
