We are seeking a FT night shift Patient Care Tech for our Float Pool. As a Float Pool PCT, you will be working on all of the units depending on where the need is for that shift. Hours will be 7:00 P to 7:30 A with rotating weekends.
Treatment, hygiene and monitoring vital signs along with additional tasks as assigned.
Clerical duties by computing and maintaining records for a nursing unit.
Overall management of the nursing station including taking off physician orders, answering telephones, answering patient call lights, ordering supplies and obtaining supplies and other duties as needed.
EDUCATION: Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
CERTIFICATION: BLS - American Heart Association.
Experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.
Patient care experience is required.
Must show proficiency in performing nursing assistant duties and knowledge of medical terminology.
