Reporting to the Manager of Claims & Centralized Operations, this position will be responsible maintaining and facilitating the claims process for various ADESA protection products as well as managing a consistent business relationship across the ADESA auction operations. This role must develop a strong working knowledge of ADESA auction operating systems as well as auction operations including but not limited to front office (titles), accounts payable, arbitrations and lot operations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Daily review and follow-up on protection product claims, which includes:

    • Proper follow-up on all outstanding tasks, including claims evaluation and customer service, in accordance with quality and production standards.

    • Interpretation and communication of product Terms and Conditions and educating customer on the outlined claims process as necessary.

    • Monitor claims to ensure proper follow-through and thorough communication; focus on time-in-phase to ensure claims are closed in a timely and accurate fashion.

  • Ensure risk is mitigated through sound claims settlements, reviews, and investigations in accordance with company policies and procedures.

  • Ensure internal and external customers receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention for all transactions as necessary

  • Must know, practice, and ensure that company policies and procedures and state and federal laws are always followed.

  • Support all relevant KAR and ADESA initiatives.

Educational Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Relevant auction experience of at least 1 year is preferred.

  • Experience with auction Front Office, Arbitration, Lot Operations and other auction operational activities are preferred.

  • French Bilingual.
