  Converting/E&I Master Data Coordinator

Georgia-Pacific’s Consumer Products business is looking for a talented individual to join our Data Management team. The Master Data Coordinator position ensures material and customer data is available and accurate by working closely with the Sales Organization, Marketing, Package Engineering, Customer Service and Finance professionals across multiple business areas. This individual will use problem-solving skills to work through issues and will make complex decisions concerning master data based on a thorough understanding of the master data processes. 


This role is a new role that is being set up within Georgia Pacific. Members of this team will be part of a central team that will own Asset Care master data for the Consumer Products Group division. This position can be home-based, located at the Georgia-Pacific LLC headquarters building in downtown Atlanta or located at the Green Bay, WI location.  

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:


  • Work with the facilities and engineering to ensure new technical objects being loaded into SAP S4 align with the principles and standard naming conventions

  • Work with other members of the central team to ensure they are being provided the master data necessary for their areas

  • Load new master data into SAP S4

  • Create template hierarchy in SAP S4 and leverage Georgia Pacific tools as necessary to help speed up the process of loading hierarchy and to ensure standardization

  • Optimize the hierarchy creation process to eliminate waste in the process

  • Retire equipment hierarchy as equipment is decommissioned

  • Work to enrich the master data attached to the hierarchy to anticipate customer's needs

  • Make updates to the master data through the MOC process

  • Create templates in SAP for facilities to utilize


What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Two (2) or more years of experience in managing equipment master data

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience working in a maintenance management system

  • Converting or E&I experience


What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Planning or maintenance experience

  • SAP experience to include the build out of functional locations, equipment, BOMs

  • Experience applying principles to manage data

  • Data analysis experience

  • Experience working with P&IDs, GA's, single lines, exploded views, and other engineering drawings
