What you will do:

Work in collaboration with a team of engineers to design and develop robust solutions that meet defined system requirements.

How you will do it:

Responsible for the investigation, development and implementation of non-standard software solutions, protocol integration and database integration projects while exercising considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of assignments. Provide pre-sales technical support of department solutions and capabilities. Teams effectively with integration department as well as internal and external customers. Investigation of effective and competitive solutions along with proposal development outlining chosen solutions, responsibilities, and costs involved. Manages and schedules all aspects of assigned workload. Prioritizes work to meet the goals of the customer along with department goals. Provide cost and time frame estimates for evaluation. Collaborates with the department to maintain a high level of engineering standards ensuring maximum reuse of designs and programs. Works with field installation teams to insure timely delivery of developed solutions in order to maximize successful execute.  Schedule and perform project implementations of developed solutions. Available for travel as needed (anticipated around 50%). Development of accurate and concise documentation with the objective to have complete information on file and in the customers' hands that fully explains the solution, how it works, how it’s used and allows for reconstruction of the developed solution in the event of a system failure.  Perform other related duties and projects as assigned and other duties listed in quarterly and annual goal setting.

What we look for:


  • BS/MS degree or equivalent work experience. 

  • Software Application Engineering and Project Management, including development, testing, deployment, fault diagnostics and maintenance of applications. 

  • Possesses strong written and oral communication skills. 

  • Must be able to demonstrate direct experience with software development platforms such as MS Visual Studio, C++, C#, HTML5, JAVA, 

  • Website development Web tools development, SQL Server and GitHub


  • Prior integration experience with Building Automation Systems as well as communications protocols such as Modbus, SNMP and BACnet.
