Job Description:

We are looking to hire a Forklift Operator for our warehouse yard in Nampa, Idaho.   This role will work with the warehouse team and be responsible for operating forklifts, moving material throughout the facility, and spotting yard loads, both receiving and shipping.

Essential Functions:


  • Review order information with the Inventory Control Supervisor.

  • Load and unload trucks containing various products and materials.

  • Observe all safety rules and programs.

  • Maintain certification to operate forklifts (up to 35,000 pounds) on site.

  • Properly maintain weight distribution and balance on outbound trucks.

  • Verify correct building and miscellaneous materials against bill of lading or other documentation.

  • Verify that materials to be unloaded are acceptable by checking for damage.

  • Ensure equipment is properly maintained and serviced, and perform daily preshift inspections.

  • Assist Mi-Jack Operator by spotting and directing for shipment of buildings.

  • Clean and maintain the yard in an organized manner at all times.

  • Coordinate truck traffic throughout the yard.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Forklift operation experience in various sizes

  • Additional mobile equipment operator experience is a plus.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
