Position Title: ERP Director IT

Overview

The ERP IT Director is responsible for directing and overseeing packaged application administration and development for ERP and ERP Operational Business applications with an emphasis on Finance.  This position will provide the vision and strategy for effective deployment and maintenance of applications across the organization, performing assessments, implementations and production support for ERP systems portfolio. This individual will collaborate with business partners and leadership across the organization to strategically assess business priorities and manage resource capacity to ensure the delivery of a high level of end user satisfaction. This position will provide thought leadership promoting efficient system architectures and providing effective production support across the organization at a time when significant change is taking place, organizationally and strategically.

Responsibilities


  • Management of high-performance team of ERP solution architects, ERP solution analysts, administrators, developers, and delivery Leads.

  • Improves operational processes and supports critical business strategies by directing the development, implementation, and maintenance of ERP applications systems

  • Formulates business systems architecture plans, estimates costs, and ensures projects meet strategic needs.

  • Ensures all activities with ERP Applications align with organizational goals and objectives.

  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function.

  • Management of ERP AMS Partner as it related to Operational Support

  • Responsible for the ERP solutions across Supply Chain, Commercial and G/A

  • Recommends policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.

Basic Qualifications:

  


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering

  • 7+ years' implementing and/or managing ERP solutions. Key experience and proven competencies in ERP technologies associated with responsibilities. (i.e. SAP S4/Hana, Ariba)

  • 7+ years' leading and developing a high performing IT team Knowledge and skill in a broad base of application administration and deployment strategies. Success in leveraging technology to create efficiency through process & automation.

  • Knowledge of large complex systems. Proven ability to adapt to new roles and responsibilities. Consult with stakeholders to find alternative workarounds

  • Experienced at carrying out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees and addressing complaints and resolving problems. Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.

  • Proven experience with definition and implementation of customer requirements, product vision and support of ongoing life cycle management.

  • Proven expert in partnering with and leading internal and external technology resources in solving complex business needs.

  • Ability to meet or exceed operational targets, service-level agreements, schedules, quality or cost requirements.

Additional Skills/Preferences: 


  • Preferred experience with contractor and vendor management.

  • Experience with financial management and/or supply chain management with deep understanding of financial processes
